CARY, N.C. (July 9, 2010) – On June 24, Carolina Advanced Digital, Inc. (CAD), an engineering company focused on IT infrastructure, management and security solutions, was recognized by Business Leader Media as one of North Carolina’s Top 100 Small Businesses at the awards ceremony held at Events at Newton Square in Raleigh. CAD ranked 71 among the 100 chosen winners.

To be eligible, a business must employ fewer than 100 full-time employees, generate more than half of its sales in North Carolina and have been in business for at least five years. Businesses that met these criteria were evaluated by both their business and community achievements.

Business Achievement
Initiating relationships with global partners and their affiliates from national speaking engagements and conferences, CAD continues to gather visibility for North Carolina.

Carolina Advanced Digital, Inc. is no stranger to the Business Leader Media ranking of Top 100 North Carolina Small Businesses. Ranked 15 in last year’s achievements of 2009, CAD maintains an exceptional work ethic to stay on top.

CAD also fostered the country’s first community-college-based HP ProCurve Network Certification course. This development has played a significant role in providing supplementary educational and training resources statewide.

Community Achievement
As an engineering-focused company, CAD provides IT training and solutions for local and state government agencies as well as community colleges, healthcare systems and commercial businesses.

John and Susan Jabbusch, co-founders of the association, were instrumental in the Buy Chatham Campaign and formed the Small Business Expo. Mr. Jabbusch formerly served as a Chatham County representative on the Governor’s Mid-Carolina Workforce Development Board for more than a decade. He currently serves on the Technical Advisory Board at Central Carolina Community College.

To thank our loyal customers for your continued business and support, we have instituted a customer loyalty program in which we offer you the enjoyment of deeper discounts, free hands-on training opportunities, hardware seed units and more. Here are some specific examples of what customer loyalty means to CAD:

• A community college that is a frequent purchaser of HP Procurve products from CAD received a greatly-reduced rate on additional professional services. This college also received free seats at a recent HP Procurve certification training ($2,400 value).

• Four more of our customers were given seats for HP Procurve certification at no charge.

• Select loyal customers were given Ergotron mobile carts as seed units at no charge.

• Many loyal customers have been the recipient of a free day of engineering services based on volume purchases.

• Loyal customers are invited to CAD’s regular half-day crash courses and implementation and familiarization trainings throughout the region at no cost or low cost.

• Being a great customer also enables CAD to leverage your buying power to ask our partners for additional discounts that we then pass along to you.

This is what a value partnership is all about. Be sure to ask Julie or Susan how you can participate in our customer loyalty program!
