Techno Forensics Conference

The Training Company management team produces the annual Techno Forensics & Digital Investigations Conference. This year’s conference will be held at NIST Headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD.

This will be the sixth year for Techno Forensics & Digital Investigations, and many of their Techno Security & Digital Investigations attendees attend both conferences every year. John McCumber, chief strategist for Symantec Corporation, will spearhead the presentation list as the event’s keynote speaker, followed by guest presentations from The Training Co.’s Jack Wiles and SAS’ Ryan Linn. The event begins with the conference portion on Thursday, offering attendees the opportunity to speak one-on-one with systems engineers and participate in technology showcases and educational sessions focused on today’s hot security topics. Of the 16 breakout sessions, key subjects include hardening the network infrastructure, wireless security and planning for 802.11n, pen-testing and physical security. There will also be a CAD toolbox session to show you what tools we use and an HP ProCurve demo lab.

To wind down the event, we will host a private directors’ reception and wine tasting Thursday evening as a meet-and-mingle affair for leadership, as well as an optional golf tournament for all conference attendees on Friday ($50 greens fee for customer attendees).
