Job Description

Carolina Advanced Digital, Inc. is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidates will enjoy working in a results-oriented, fast-paced and collaborative environment. We are looking for a candidate who has outstanding communication skills, the ability to multi-task, a problem-solving nature and strong analytical skills. A great personality, sense of humor and attention to detail are critical. Also, we believe an interest in the information technology industry is key to success here at CAD.

This individual should be able to organize practices and procedures and handle ongoing projects. We are looking for someone who will proactively look for ways to improve processes to create more efficiency for the organization.

If you have the skills below, little or no experience is needed. We’ll train you on the processes; you just need the attitude, motivation and desire to join a growing company here in North Carolina. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

This is for a full-time position, 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday in Cary, NC.


Desired Skills & Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Answering phones and greeting guests
  • Receiving and routing customer calls
  • Internal support for accounting processes
  • Shipping and receiving (light volume)
  • Creation and updating of various reports weekly/monthly
  • Coordinating scheduling
  • Participating in special projects as directed
  • Assist as needed with trainings, trade shows and other external events through coordination with marketing, sales and engineering teams
  • For the right candidate, there’s room for growth to Project Management, Sales, Customer Service and other positions!

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to operate multi-line phones
  • Ability to effectively gather information and communicate it clearly

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must have transportation
  • This position will require obtaining Notary Public
  • Candidate must be a US citizen, and native English speaker
  • Candidate must be able to pass a US DoD background check, if required
