Come play with the pros! Well, the IT pros, that is. Join our team of industry experts and test your skills on the green. Our Annual Hot Topics Golf Tourney is a fun, casual way to meet and mingle with peers and our IT experts while enjoying a little bit of the outdoors.
Hot Topics Golf Tourney is Captain’s Choice, with Shotgun Start. Prizes are awarded for First Place in First and Second Flight, as well as specialty holes marked for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive.
The Golf Tourney is open to any Conference Attendees who wish to play. See below for tournament details and registration fee information.
There is an awards reception immediately after the tournament. Proper attire is required: Shirts with collar and no jeans or short shorts, and Grandover is a non-metal spike facility.

Course Details
Designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, world renowned golf architects. Built amidst our 1500 acres of oaks, pine and dogwood covered hills, the courses provide a blaze of color and assure golfers they are in the Carolinas, America’s heartland of golf. Share stunning panoramas with the deer and fox in this golfer’s paradise.
All 2011 tournament participants will be playing the West Course at Grandover. The Grandover courses received four and a half stars, noted as one of “America’s Best Places to Play” by Golf Digest and “Best Conditioned Courses in North America” Golf Digest (4th Place).

Tournament Fees
There is an $80 tournament fee for all participants (Thursday attendees will receive a $30 voucher towards golf), which includes your Tournament Pack (above). In addition, club rentals are also available from the Pro Shop for $50/set. During registration, please note if you’ll be needing rental clubs, and whether you need a right or left handed set.
During registration, please specify whether the golf fee will be paid personally, or invoiced to your company. All club rentals are paid directly to the Pro Shop at Grandover.
